ENOSA mod F
5.56x45 - 4x - Spain - CETME L

Made in Spain by ENOSA (Empresa Nacional De Optica, S.A.) the ENOSA, mod. F, appears to have been primarly inteded for use on the CETME L family of rifles in service with the Spanish military, although mounts also appear for use on the earlier CETME C family of rifles.

Seen in factory cardboard shipping box. Note the cardboard box has the serial number of the scope on the outside.

Early possibly protoype CETME L rifle mount, it only allows for scopes to be fitted with metal ring straps. First four photos show it used on early CETME L protoype rifles. Note the rifles have unique magazines, shorter magwells, early pattern front handguards, rotating diopter iron sights and the scope body is painted black note green. This pattern of CETME L scope mount is presumbmly predates the second pattern shown below. Note the last photos show it mounted on regular CETME L rifles with regular flip style iron sights.

Second pattern CETME L scope mount. Note it can fit any STANG pattenr scope, and thus uses an adaptor ring set to mount the ENOSA mod F scope, much like the CETME C scope mount below. A small number of these mounts were sold by Apex Gun parts when CETME L parts kits first hit the US market.

Mounted on CETME C mount. Note while similar to the German and ARMS mounts for the HK G3 rifles the CETME C mount includes a bar that wraps around the rear iron sight bracket. Also the bracket for mounting the ENOSA mod. F is a seperate piece that comes in two variants, solid metal rings and metal strap rings.

With Spanish soldiers on CETME LV rifles.

Seen mounted on a CETME LVC carbines in museums. Only a small number of these carbines appear to have been made with them having low serial numbers, these carbines appear to be numbers 0000 and 0001. Note the equally uncommen sling inteded for use on the CETME LC collapsing stock.
